Lizard autumn campaign ended!

Lizard autumn campaign ended this week. Still need to bring back the boat and process the nearly five hundred photos (!). This year there has been a good recruitment of young lizards (photo).

Ring-necked parakeet in Sevilla!

On the wildlife journal Quercus  this month A. Luna published an interesting article  on the Ring-necked parakeet in Sevilla (Spain) and the potential conflict that invasive species can generate.

Stranded !

Cory's shearwater fledglings are leaving the nest. Some of them get attracted by the light of the cities along the shore and cannot find the way back to the sea.

MSc in Marine Ecology with the GEDA!

Margalida Castell Orell and Maria Martin Perez have sucessfully completed their Master on Marine Ecology at the University of the Balearic Islands. Maragalida and Maria did their final work within the GEDA on Storm Petrels and Cory's shearwaters, respectively. They both obtained the highest note. Congratulations!
